Manage Rental Operation:

  • Work with owner to confirm pull sheets for upcoming events

  • Print pull sheets and cross check them with contracts & orders

  • Manage rental prep staff:

    • Make sure they have their pull lists, quality control-check their work before items go out, manage schedules, etc

  • Jump in to prep rentals when needed | We are an “all hands-on deck” kind of team

  • Observe and assist in rental consultations with the intention of running your own consultations when ready

  • Be the lead communicator with rental clients

    • Updating contracts

    • Following up on pending contracts

    • Scheduling pick-ups and returns

    • Creating rental return sheets for pick-ups

    • Helping clients load and unload rentals

  • Manage inventory needs

    • Creating systems, keeping tabs on broken items, repairs, plan ahead, order supplies and make sure new inventory is ordered and will arrive in time

  • Manage warehouse organization

  • Manage rental and event return (with assistance of rental prep specialist) – Confirm missing or damaged items, make sure things were put away accordingly, re-stocked, etc

Manage Event Logistics:

  • Manage set-up and strike schedules

    • Send reminders to clients regarding logistics and final counts

    • Reach out to venue coordinators and planners to confirm set-up and strike times

    • Create day-of timelines & disperse to appropriate parties

    • Communicate day-of timeline to all appropriate parties, vendors, workers, clients, etc

  • Manage staff schedules

    • Schedule contract laborers and prospect additional help when needed

    • Keep track of event labor hours and provide to owner

  • Manage Strike:

    • Provide tear-down check lists

    • Be on-call in case tear-down workers need assistance

  • Assistant to Owner/Lead Designer

    • Any projects or tasks dictated by owner in addition to core job duties listed above

    • Not limited to, but may include the following:

      • Attending networking events

      • Manning bridal expos

      • Executing outside marketing events like pop-up shops, design classes, etc

      • Assisting with new inventory purchases or promos, market research, or marketing

      • Assisting with floral design tasks when needed (this does not require previous floral design experience)


Monday | 9:00a-4:00p

Tuesday | 8:00/8:30a - 4:00p

Wednesday | OFF

Thursday | 9:00a-4:00p

Friday | 9:00a – 4:00p

Saturday – Hours Vary (Typically 5-8 hours) | Set-up is mandatory when events are scheduled

Sunday – OFF | *Unless events are scheduled

Additional Notes:

  • One-hour lunch unpaid or option to work-through lunch

  • Busy event weekends may require you to stay after 4p during the week. Typically, no later than 7p. We should know these weeks in advance and will work around personal commitments.


Pay Type: Hourly

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly | Direct Deposit option

Paid Vacation & Holidays:

  • 10 Days Paid Vacation after 6 months of employment (must be approved in advance by owner | Ideally not taking it on busy week/weekends if it can be avoided)

  • 10 Days Unpaid to use at employee’s discretion (must be approved by owner in advance or with due notice)

  • Paid Holidays Off (that don’t conflict with events):

    • New Year’s Day

    • 4th of July

    • Labor Day

    • Memorial Day

    • Thanksgiving Day

    • Christmas Eve

    • Christmas Day


  • Preferably have at least 2 years in the wedding/event industry

  • Experience interacting with and managing team members

  • Positive, can-do attitude

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead with confidence

  • Have an inclusive, team-player attitude

  • Possess excellent organizational skills

  • Be detail, deadline, and results focused

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Unafraid to get his/her hands dirty

  • Ability to lift 35 pounds without strain
